Last night Robinson didn't sleep well. I couldn't figure it out. He just kept kicking and scratching and rustling. It was cool in our apartment, he had plenty of room, no mosquitoes... then, early this morning I figured it out. He had fallen asleep so fast last night, while I was in the shower actually, and he had forgotten to get Goatie from his bed. All night he had tossed and turned, feeling for the thing that comforts him while he sleeps. I jumped up and when I put Goatie in his arms he squeezed her so tight and I swear I saw a small smile flicker cross his dozing face.
